What Does Thai Massage Feel Like?
The pressure and strokes of a Thai Massage therapist are generally very relaxing, but can be quite vigorous and may feel slightly uncomfortable depending on how tight the muscles are. This is quite normal as firm pressure is used to help release muscle tension. Any perceived level of discomfort should always be communicated to the therapist as it should not be too painful. When pressure is applied to muscle, the areas of the body worked should feel a sense of relaxation after a short period of discomfort.
