What is Sawaddee Thai Massage?
One of the consequences of the developments in science and technology today is that many people are required to spend lots of time using computers and/ or mobile phones. Use of computers and/or mobile phones means that people spend much time bending and peering at screens or balancing their phones in marvellously inventive ways on their shoulder. Almost inevitably, long-term use of computers and phones leads to pain and stiffness of the neck and shoulder. This is exacerbated by poor blood circulation and obstruction of the meridians.
According to traditional Thai medical theory, obstruction often leads to pain. Therapeutic massage helps relieve these symptoms.
Thai Massage works on the body's meridians and acupressure points.
Thai Massage uses techniques such as pushing, rolling, pressing and grabbing to alleviate muscular pain; to promote blood circulation; to regulate the function of internal organs, and to build up the body's resistance.
Thai Massage can also relax tense back and shoulder muscles and assist the body to cope with stress.
